The asset allocations we recommend grow out of our 20/20 global vision

We recommend asset allocations that we believe will participate in long-term global economic growth, protect your wealth, preserve your wealth's purchasing power and have low correlations with one another.

Investments in global stocks and global bonds include strong allocations to U.S. stocks and bonds, but we view and make those investments in the context of the global economy.

Currently, for most of our clients, we recommend asset allocations in these ranges:

Global stocks 25% - 35%*
Global bonds 15% - 25%
Cash 5% -10%
Real estate 10% - 20%
Energy complex 5% -10%
Raw materials and commodities 5% -10%
Precious metals 5% -10%
Foreign currencies 5% -10%

Our specific asset-allocation recommendations for your portfolio will depend upon your goals and objectives, your risk preferences and any special requirements you may have.

Some of the investment funds that we recommend may take long or short positions.
